Teaching skills to learn, Learning valuable skills to teach
Our teachers are licensed professionals with a degree in Early Childhood Education and Psychology. They are kept abreast with the current early childhood practices. A few examples of trainings and workshops they took part in the past years: “Planning and Enhancing the Classroom Environment” by Ms. Gholami, a Senior Education Development Specialist (Preschool) from Singapore and “Handling learners with Behavioral Problems” by Ms. Dacumos, a SpEd Professional and Educational Specialist.
Preschool teachers are both passionate and purposeful. They are passionate about their students’ development and what they teach, and purposeful in how they teach. They develop over time through their commitment to learning- both their students’ and their own. As the school strongly believes that children learn best when they are actively engaged with materials, ideas, and people, and that authentic growth requires diverse and nurturing opportunities, we strive to provide various ways for our teachers to learn and grow. When teachers are provided with opportunities for professional development, they apply their learnings in their classroom.
Last June, the teachers flew to Vietnam not just to rest, enjoy, and celebrate a successful school year, but to also explore a country whose history and values are similar as ours. They were able to meet Agent Orange Survivors whom, despite their disabilities, are thriving and making a mark with their creativity. They saw how resilient they are and able to bounce back from adversity. The workers at the handicraft company are fine examples of how strong the human spirit can really be.
PGP is turning 10!

Flu Vaccination Day for Teachers
August 15, 2024 is Flu Vaccination day for the teachers and staff of Petite Graine Preschool. Always prioritizing the safety of the students and themselves, they decided to have their flu vaccines done as it was noted that there is a spike of flu cases in the country.
The flu vaccine was administered by the Pedia consultant of Petite Graine Preschool, Dr. Roan Buenaventura, MD, DPPS.
Teachers She and Jan are Licensed Professional Teachers
The Petite Graine Preschool family is so proud of our two wonderful teachers, Teacher She and Teacher Jan of Kinder 2 who passed their Licensure Examination for Teachers last March of 2023. They were so proud to add the LPT to their names and made them strive to become even better teachers to their students.
Congratulations again, Teachers She and Jan!
Teacher Mika Passes Psychometrician Board
Congratulations to our very own Teacher Mika of Playschool Class for passing the recent Psychometrician Board Exams. Now that she’s a licensed Psychometrician, she is another step closer to all her dreams.
We, your Petite Graine Preschool family, are so happy for you, Teacher Mika!!!
