Activities
Teaching skills to learn, Learning valuable skills to teach
17 June 2024 – Preschool teachers are both passionate and purposeful. They are passionate about their students’ development and what they teach, and purposeful in how they teach. They develop over time through their commitment to learning- both their students’ and their own. As the school strongly believes that children learn best when they are actively engaged with materials, ideas, and people, and that authentic growth requires diverse and nurturing opportunities, we strive to provide various ways for our teachers to learn and grow. When teachers are provided with opportunities for professional development, they apply their learnings in their classroom.
Last June 2024, the teachers flew to Vietnam not just to rest, enjoy, and celebrate a successful school year, but to also explore a country whose history and values are similar as ours. They were able to meet Agent Orange Survivors whom, despite their disabilities, are thriving and making a mark with their creativity. They saw how resilient they are and able to bounce back from adversity. The workers at the handicraft company are fine examples of how strong the human spirit can really be.

Christmas Drive 2024 in Escalante City, Negros Occidental
02 January 2025 – It is such a joy to be given opportunities to give, and to share blessings to others. Nothing compares to the smiles, excitement and appreciation of the children who received these blessings.
Last December 2024, the admin, teachers, and staff of PGP travelled to Bacolod to bring boxes filled with books, school supplies, vitamins, snacks, toys, stand fans, keyboard and clothes for the 135 preschoolers of 3 Child Development Centers in Brgy. Washington in Escalante City, Negros Occidental. Through our partnership with School is Cool Project, we gave these children uncontainable joy and assurance that they are loved, valued and supported.
Thank you PGP families, friends, relatives, and the Malubay Family for allowing us to touch the lives of these children! May all that is beautiful, meaningful, and brings you joy be yours this holiday season and throughout the coming year! 🎄✨❤️
Blessed to be a blessing 💚
